The First Lady, 55, turned heads for all the right reasons when she hosted the Independence Day picnic with President Donald Trump on the South Lawn of the White House on Friday, July 4th. The event, which celebrated America’s 249th birthday, welcomed military families for a celebration that included a picnic, lawn games, and a fireworks display.

The Slovenian-American former model looked chic and elegant in a white Thom Browne shirt dress, featuring a sharp collar and a feminine A-line skirt. The designer has been vocal about dressing Melania in the past, and previously said "as the First Lady and (dressing her) is something that I would respect."
The mom-of-one accessorized with some bold red snake-embossed Manolo Blahnik heels to add a pop of color to the proceedings, and wore her highlighted caramel locks in a center-parted, slightly wavy down do.
