Melissa McCarthy Wears A Waist-Cinching Jumpsuit On The Set Of 'Law & Order'
Last month, the comedic actress made a cameo on one of the most popular television series out there - Law & Order SVU. There have been an extremely high number of stars on that show, and it looks like every now and then, even some super recognizable faces still make an appearance here and there.
In mid-April, Melissa appeared on the show as a guest star who played a female wrestler, and on Instagram, shared a behind-the-scenes vlog of her not only getting into costume, but also surprising the show's star, Mariska Hargitay. In the video, she's seen dressed as her character, as Mariska exclaims over how excited she is to see her and perform with her. You can see the video here!
For her wrestling character cameo, the actress wore an almost Elvis-inspired, black jumpsuit with flare bottoms and a large, gold wrestling belt that cinched her slim waist. She had on a short, black wig and some glam makeup as she hugged and celebrated with her friend before filming.

After the video was shared on social media, fans of the Gilmore Girls icon chimed in on how much they loved seeing her and Mariska together, as well as how she finally got to have a guest role on the infamous crime drama series after writing that it was "six years in the making" in her Instagram caption.
However, amid comments about the two performers' viral reunion and surprise, there were also a lot of people pointing out Melissa's weight loss. Over the last decade, she's been gradually slimming down, reportedly losing nearly 100 pounds after taking on healthier lifestyle habits, dropping restrictive diets, and more. These days, some people have found she's looking extra small, and almost unrecognizable, cheering on her progress.
