Michael Bolton Cancels London Show
The Grammy-winner was due to perform at the O2 Arena in London on July 5th, 2025, with none other than Bonnie Tyler as a special guest. However, he told fans last week that the show is no longer going ahead, as he wants to spend more time recovering from the surgery.
"Today we are announcing the cancellation of my July 5th concert at the O2 Arena in London," the "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" singer wrote on Instagram on Friday, February 7th. "You all know how much I was looking forward to this show but I am continuing to heal from surgery," he continued.
He went on to say: "Thank you for all your love and positive energy over this past year. I am so grateful to have the most supportive fans in the world. Your tickets will be automatically refunded."
Michael Bolton Previously Told Fans He Was 'Healing Well' Following Surgery
On March 31st, 2024, the "To Love Somebody" singer updated fans following his surgery. "I am healing well and doing better every day," he revealed. "I've been enjoying the company of my daughters and grandkids during this time at home, and practicing on my putting green whenever it's not raining!" he continued, adding: "Thank you all so much for all the kind messages and I hope to see you very soon!"
"Praise God! My prayers are with you and your family!" exclaimed one fan in the comments. "Prayers for a speedy recovery. Miss your beautiful voice," wrote a second supportive fan, as a third commented: "Praying for you, love your beautiful songs, voice! Please take care of yourself."
Michael Bolton Reveals Cancer Diagnosis In January 2024
The "That's What Love Is All About" singer first told fans about his cancer diagnosis in early 2024, in a very candid social media post.
"Just before the holidays, it was discovered that I had a brain tumor, which required immediate surgery," the "Soul Provider" hitmaker wrote in a Facebook post on January 5th, 2024.
"Thanks to my incredible medical team, the surgery was a success," he continued, adding: "I am now recuperating at home and surrounded by the tremendous love and support of my family."
