Aside from the many divorce rumors that have swirled around Barack and Michelle Obama, navigating married life under the microscope of an entire nation is no small feat. The Obamas did it for 8 years while Barack was president, and have continued to stay in the public eye ever since. Michelle just revealed that for guidance, she and Barack look to another A-list couple: Bruce Springsteen and his wife, Patti Scialfa. Keep reading for more information.
Michelle & Barack's Mentors
Michelle actually welcomed Bruce onto her podcast, IMO, very recently, and spoke very highly of the musician and his relationship with his wife. "I marvel at you and Patti and the work that you all have done," the former first lady gushed. "You and Patti have been couple mentors for me and Barack for quite some time."
"[We are] watching you guys do the work," she continued. "Getting advice on how to keep those lines of communication open." She also praised Bruce and Patty as individuals, calling them "powerhouses in [their] own right … merging those lives together."

Obama Divorce Rumors
Most of the rumors that had been making headlines derive from the fact that Michelle had been notably missing from several public appearances her husband made this year. On January 9th, she did not attend President Jimmy Carter's funeral. Days later, she was absent from Donald Trump's inauguration as well. Then again in March, Barack attended a Los Angeles Clippers game without his wife.
Then, of course, there are the Jennifer Aniston affair rumors, which the Friends star herself has shut down on live television. While on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, she clarified to fans that she's only met the former president "once." However, Michelle and Barack have pretty much put these rumors to bed.
