The Hannah Montana star has had quite the busy year so far, having released her exciting and highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, right before the summer, and working super hard to promote it. In addition to the new songs, she's released both a visual album full of cool music videos and a live concert short film in collaboration with Spotify.
More recently, she posed for a magazine cover story and sat down with Perfect to give a personal interview. According to their preview of her interview on Instagram, the magazine posted a few select quotes from Miley, including her thoughts on empowering fashion.
"Even if I'm wearing nothing, there still feels like a level of power to it," she said.
She certainly got to put on some powerful looks for her feature with the fashion and entertainment publication, including a Victorian-style gown which was cropped towards the bottom to expose her long legs, that the styling team paired with Converse, to add a modern edge. However, for her cover photo, the star was stripped down and posed with nothing on but her hands covering up her body.
Fans React To Miley Cyrus' New Magazine Photos And Accuse Her Of Getting Buccal Fat Removal
In the dramatic, black and white cover photo, the 32-year-old's face looks especially hollowed out, which many internet users noticed once it went viral on social media platforms like Instagram. Because of her cheeks looking especially contoured, many are speculating that she underwent a buccal fat removal procedure, one of the latest cosmetic treatment fads in Hollywood.
This is not the first time the Grammy-winner has been accused of getting the procedure, which involves reducing fullness in the cheeks by removing the buccal fat pads for a slimmer, contoured appearance. Many other celebrities have been accused of having it done, including Bella Hadid, Lea Michele, Anya Taylor-Joy, and more.
Although she hasn't acknowledged whether or not she underwent the controversial procedure, Miley's fans pointed out how different her face looked in the comments section on Instagram.
"Whoever invented buccal fat removal should go to jail," wrote one.
"What did she do to her face?" added another. "So unnecessary."
Another fan claimed the singer was "perfect until she had all the stuff sucked out of her face."
An additional feature fans called out on Instagram was Miley's teeth, which have been speculated as veneers for a while now. Not only are people convinced she got veneers, but they also don't think they were done very well.
"I don't have anything against Miley, but what did she do to her mouth and her teeth area?" asked an Instagram user. "It looks so weird."

While Miley is still considered one of the biggest and most popular celebrities in the entertainment industry, it looks like a good number of her fans are missing her natural beauty. However, she's still killing it in the fashion department.
