Miley Cyrus Recalls Getting A 'Brutal Infection' At The Hollywood Walk Of Fame While Shooting 'Something Beautiful' Film
The three-time Grammy winner confessed that she "caught something" and got a "brutal infection" on her kneecap after rolling around on the Hollywood Walk of Fame while shooting her upcoming film Something Beautiful, which will be released next month to go alongside her album of the same name.
Since obtaining permits to shoot on the iconic landmark was too expensive, Miley explained that she and her team decided to film there in the middle of the night in October, hoping to avoid the crowds. But Miley seemingly paid another price…
"I filmed this video in October, and by November, on Thanksgiving, I was put in ICU for a moment," Miley confessed, referencing how she ended up in intensive care because the hospital was overwhelmed due to the holiday.
"My leg began to disintegrate around the kneecap area," the "Angels Like You" singer explained, and then recalled her conversation with the doctor. "And then the doctor goes, 'Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?'"
The Hannah Montana alum went on: "I had to tell him, and to have a surgeon look at you and say, 'Yuck.' They open up cadavers. They see inside the guts of humans, and they're looking at me, telling me I'm disgusting. And they do brain operations!"
