How Did Ethan Suplee Achieve His 200-Lb Weight Loss Transformation?
The American History X actor went into detail about how he achieved his incredible new figure in an interview with Men’s Health. He told the pub that he didn’t go down the traditional weight loss diet route, and instead, focused on strength training and eating a balanced diet that focused on whole foods.
“Diets told me I was defective—and yo-yo dieting is the worst sort of hell. It is chasing a goal that disappears immediately once achieved,” he confessed, adding: “The most important thing I would want anyone to take away is that for me, the biggest change was understanding how food works. And the more I feel that I understand, scientifically, the more power I have over it.”
Suplee has shared many before and after pictures and videos with his Instagram followers over the years, in order to show them just how far he has come. And in his Men’s Health interview, he wanted to make sure his fans knew that all of the pictures he shared on social media were not edited in any way!
He explained to the pub: “I’m at my absolute pinnacle. I spent 35, 40 years without taking my shirt off in public. The shadows haven’t been enhanced. There’s loose skin. There are scars. This is who I am.”

The Titans star captioned a before and after picture which he shared on January 10th: "Quitting refined carbs, sugar and seed oils won't guarantee you get lean and muscular. It is possible to get lean and muscular while eating all 3. And if you do get lean and muscular, you will be healthier."
He shared another before and after picture just a few days earlier, with his followers showering him with compliments in the comments! "Such an inspiration," wrote one fan. "Incredible mate. Didn't even realize it was you," praised a second, as a third added: "Looking great my brother. You could totally do a bodybuilding competition." "You're my hero, Ethan!" exclaimed a fourth proud fan. "This is unreal," raved a fifth.
"Dude congrats on the transformation. That's pretty impressive," complimented another fan. "Really dope to see. Good for you brother. You owe it to you. Hard work pays off and I hope you feel your best now. Wish you happiness and health," commented another. "So proud of you," gushed another fan.
