Come on Barbie, let’s go party! The official Barbie trailer just dropped and it’s an absolute star-studded cast. The names are big and the cast is never-ending—of course, there’s Margot Robbie as Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, but Dua Lipa, Issa Rae, Kate Mackinnon, Will Ferrell, and Michael Cera are just a few of the other actors that were teased. After breaking the Internet on Tuesday with poster releases debuting an Avengers-like cast of characters, the film, directed by Ladybird and Little Women director Greta Gerwig, released a second trailer as well (they released an initial teaser video back in December), giving a glimpse into what a plot about dolls can entail. Here’s the latest as we enter the summer of Barbie-verse this July:

'Barbie' Trailer Drops Just In Time For Summer

Finally, we have a little understanding of what can possibly go on in life in plastic. In the latest teaser that dropped this Tuesday for Barbie, coming to theaters July 21, we see the infamous blonde Mattel doll, played by Margot Robbie, step out of her pink plastic shoes in Barbie Land and head out in a pink convertible into the "real world," complete with her very tanned, and very blonde boyfriend Ken in tow, aka Ryan Gosling.

We get a little taste of the naivete Barbie and Ken face as they navigate real life. Before leaving the fictional story world of Barbie Land, Barbie asks Ken if he remembered his rollerblades (apparently, an important item the plastic duo will need to accomplish life in the real world) to which he replies, "I literally go nowhere without them."

Warner Bros. Create Star-Studded Cast For Barbie Movie, Including Dua Lipa

In the trailer, we are introduced to a few of the characters, which include multiple versions of Barbie and Ken, that live in the Barbie verse. We see Issa Rae as president Barbie, Simu Liu face off as Ken against Ryan Gosling's Ken, and a bunch of Barbies, including Emma Mackey, a scientist Barbie, and Alexandra Shipp, a celebrated author Barbie, say hi to each other (what ensues is a back-and-forth of "Hi Barbie!").

We also see Kate McKinnon play a Barbie constantly falling into the splits (if you played with the dolls, you know this happened far too often) and Will Ferrell star as a Mattel executive.

Posters dropped reveal one of the largest character lineups to ever be seen, which makes sense since the famous doll was known for doing it all. One of the most shocking castings though was Dua Lipa, who will play a mermaid Barbie doll complete with a sparkly blue ensemble, shell bra, and bright blue wig. This will be the global pop star's acting debut.

Split between a doll and a "human" cast, the lineup doesn't stop there. Hari Nef is a doctor Barbie, Kingsley Ben-Adir plays a Ken, Ncuti Gatwa plays a cowboy Ken, Ana Cruz Kayne is a Supreme Court Justice Barbie, Scott Evans is a Ken too, Sharon Rooney plays lawyer Barbie, Nicola Coughlan plays diplomat Barbie, Ritu Arya plays a Pulitzer-prize winning Barbie, Michael Cera plays Allan (Ken's friend), and Emerald Fennell plays Midge (a pregnant Barbie, who caused controversy when first released).

Along with Will Ferrell as a "human" CEO, America Ferrera, Ariana Greenblatt, Connor Swindells, and Jamie Demetriou all play humans, and Helen Mirren serves as the human narrator. Phew! Got all that?

Fans React To Star-Studded 'Barbie' Trailer And Cast

Of course, with a never-ending list of names that reads more like a credit reel than a main cast, fans have taken to social media ablaze with reactions over the latest teasers.

"ABOUT TO MAKE THIS MOVIE MY ENTIRE PERSONALITY," wrote one reply on the Instagram trailer post. Another wrote, "I have no idea what this film is about but I need it now."

On Twitter, fans are already calling the film the "movie of the year" and possibly of the "decade."

And now with the help of an AI Barbie Selfie Generator created by Warner Bros., fans are making their own Barbie posters of themselves, celebrities, and actors not starring in the film. It's not even been 24 hours, and fans have completely Barbie-fied the Internet with a million memes riffing on the movie.

Just as we remember the 2010s for superhero movies and social commentary films like The Social Network, could we be witnessing the beginnings of Barbie cementing a similar place in history? The movie hasn't even come out but fans are already producing memes, planning their Halloween costumes, and eating up a whole Barbiecore trend partially inspired by the initial release. Fans might just be in the honeymoon phase with Barbie-pink-colored glasses on, but it's only April and the film comes out in July, so we have a feeling this is just the beginning of the fanfare.
