After reviewing footage of him on the field, according to NBC Sports, the National Football League, or NFL, decided to fine the 35-year-old a whopping $14,491 for making obscene gestures at the other team. The news was shocking for some fans of his, as he's mostly kept his cool and earned a reputation as a friendly, harmless guy in his field. However, other NFL fans were disappointed in the news and shared many of their thoughts on the situation on social media.
On platforms like X, users took the time to slam and shame the football player, finding his gestures to be ridiculous, and they thought the entire situation was "cringey."
