I’ve been told ‘no’ so many times in my career. It’s very much about being brave, trying things, being willing to be criticized, and being willing to not be stopped by that criticism.”
While news of her divorce just broke out to the public a few days ago, Nicole is already looking toward the future.
"She's been stressed because she knew the separation would eventually become public, and she was dreading it," an insider close to the family told PEOPLE. "But she's surprisingly level-headed and calm. Now that it's out, she's just focused on what's ahead and her girls."

Just one day later, Kidman officially filed for divorce in Nashville, citing irreconcilable differences and marking the date of separation as the filing itself.
The pair, who wed in 2006, share two daughters together—Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14. The Babygirl star has been designated as the primary residential parent, while both she and Urban will share responsibility for major decisions regarding their daughters. The couple is also required to attend a parenting seminar.
The Australian native also generated headlines decades ago for her high-profile marriage to Tom Cruise. The Mission: Impossible actor, who is currently dating actress Ana de Armas, and Kidman tied the knot in 1990 and remained married for 11 years. In February 2001, Cruise filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
