The daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian made a surprise front-row appearance at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show during Paris Fashion Week in June, sporting her signature punk-inspired style in an all-black ensemble.
For the occasion, the singer and rapper wore an oversized black long-sleeved Vetements graphic sweatshirt featuring fiery lettering, safety-pin details along the sleeves, and spikes around the neckline and wrists. She paired it with a black pleated mini skirt and sheer black tights.

Fans Ask North West To Change Her Style
Her footwear was equally dramatic, as she stepped out in Vetements x New Rock leather platform boots wrapped in chunky silver chains.
North completed the look with bright turquoise-blue hair styled in high pigtails, dramatic manga-inspired makeup, and spiked nail and hand accessories. She also wore a rhinestone-studded spiked collar necklace, matching spiked bracelets and cuffs, and facial and hand piercings.
However, while North's outfit certainly made a statement, some social media users felt that the look was becoming repetitive.
The young star has frequently embraced the same punk-inspired aesthetic since stepping into the public eye and beginning to promote her music online.
Her signature turquoise-blue hair and edgy clothing have also been recurring features of her TikTok videos.
After a viral video of her Vetements appearance circulated on Instagram this week, critics took to the comments to question whether she ever switches up her wardrobe.

North Talks About Her Fashion Inspiration
But North's fashion choices appear to be intentional, as she has previously spoken about the inspirations behind her distinctive style.
In a recent interview with EmWell on The Well Well Well Show, the 13-year-old opened up about her fashion and makeup influences.
One of her biggest style inspirations is Hatsune Miku, the turquoise-haired virtual singer she recently dressed up as for Halloween. When asked why Miku was so important to her, North explained, “I don’t know. I just want to dress like her. I just want to be like her. That’s a lifestyle I want to live.”
North is also developing her own fashion and lifestyle project called NOR11, which she has also referred to as “Nory.”
The name combines part of her first name, North, with the number 11, reflecting the age she was when the concept began. The project was first teased with black faux-fur hats in late 2025 before its initial product drop in March 2026.
North has since revealed that she is continuing to develop the brand and hopes to make its upcoming releases even more ambitious.
“Got to work on it better because I want the next drop to be crazy and that’s going to be in a minute, maybe a few years,” she said.
When asked what kind of pieces she hopes to create, North explained, “Just like what I’d be wearing but so much elevated and then like making it better.”
For now, North appears committed to the alternative-inspired aesthetic that has become her signature, even as fans continue debating whether she should experiment with different looks.
