A video of North West receiving a bouquet of black flowers from her dad, Kanye West, backstage at her first solo concert last month is going viral – and we’re looking at her outfit all over again!
North may have canceled plans for her first solo tour, but she is still pursuing her music career and performing solo. The 13-year-old firstborn of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West took part in her first solo concert at The Vic Theatre in Chicago on Saturday, September 5th, wearing a white belted mini dress for the occasion. And both of her famous parents were there to support her, albeit in very different parts of the venue!

North West Wears A White Belted Mini Dress For Her First Solo Concert
North stayed true to her signature goth-meets-anime aesthetic for her outfit, wearing a white long-sleeved mini dress featuring multiple belts across the bodice and a ruffled, tiered mini skirt.
The statement dress was finished with ribbon detailing along the sleeves, while North completed the look with matching white boots, white socks, and a white ribbon hair tie. She also wore very heavy glam, including long eyelashes and a very plump pink lip, and finished off with her signature long blue hair.

Kanye West Gives North West Black Flowers Backstage
As we previously mentioned, North had the support of both of her famous parents on her big night, although they reportedly watched the performance from separate sections of the venue. Doesn't sound too out of the ordinary for divorced parents – especially ones who have reportedly been battling!
They briefly reunited backstage, though, as a video currently making the rounds on social media shows the Yeezy designer presenting his daughter with a bouquet of black flowers following her performance. In another part of the video, North can be seen blowing out candles on a cake, with the Skims founder standing nearby.
The unusual color of the flowers quickly caught viewers' attention, with many people questioning the choice on social media…

Internet Reactions
"Are those roses dead or black?" asked one person on Instagram, as a second echoed: "Wait is that black roses?" "Black roses are so ugly, they look dead," slammed a third, while a fourth wrote: "Whew this is so dark..."
"This looks so dark, grown and heavy for a child! Wow," commented a fifth person. "Why black flowers? And North does not look happy," noted a sixth.
"All I see is darkness," wrote a seventh person, while an eighth took things much further, writing: "Yeah a concert her parents bought her also what's up with the black flowers like it some kind of ritual while her concert was giving full demonic vibes."
"It's all so forced," criticized a ninth, as a tenth added: "I think working classes are feeling abused by this. Stop the nepotism."
However, plenty of fans loved seeing both parents supporting North's music career, while others praised the teenager too. "I love how [supportive they are] of her success," praised one fan, followed by two fire emojis.
"Good co-parenting," agreed a second, followed by the hand clapping emoji, while a third wrote: "Real family forever." "She's soooo emo & sooo cute," gushed a fourth fan, followed by several heart eyes and black heart emojis.
