The iconic duo recently appeared at the Vulture Festival, where they shared hints about their upcoming show, premiering on Peacock on Dec. 12. Naturally, they made stylish entrances, each embracing their signature looks.

"We’ve been approached both together and separately to do a reboot of The Simple Life. But both of us didn’t want to do something just to do it. We were texting over Christmas of last year, and on The Simple Life we worked with a little boy named Braxton who was 3 then, and now he’s 23," said Richie.
She revealed that over one Christmas, they wondered if they should do something for the 20th anniversary of the show.
"So in February, we got together over tacos and decided to do it, but to do it our way. We decided how many episodes it would be. How each episode would look like. We were very involved with the entire concept and every part of it," Nicole added.
The mother of two sweetly chimed and said, "We’ve been having so much fun. When Nicole and I got together, I felt like a teenager again."
Richie also revealed that one driving force that led her to do a reboot was her children. "My kids were a really big part of me wanting to do this reunion. They’re old enough now to understand and watched The Simple Life after it had this viral TikTok moment. They loved it and pushed for me to do this, and they were so happy and supportive."
Richie has a daughter, Harlow, 16, and a son, Sparrow, 15. Paris shares son Pheonix and daughter London with husband Carter Reum.
