Welcome to Double Beauty–the new series where our beauty editors Emily and Jessica test out new viral beauty products. The products we’re trying are either cult-favorites, currently trending, or sold out immediately after launching, so we put them to the test! Here’s how it went…

For this edition of Double Beauty, we are trying the new Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask. But first, some background.

Peach & Lily just launched their own in-house skincare collection this month. The collection includes nine new Korean beauty products, designed with the latest K-beauty trends and innovations. Founded and developed by Alicia Yoon, an esthetician on a mission to develop products that really work and are completely toxin-free, Peach & Lily’s skincare line is packed with products that are both delightful and effective.

The new Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask sold out on Peach & Lily’s website within minutes of launching, proving that customers were excited to give this promising product a try.

The Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask is a pro-level wash-off mask that exfoliates, resurfaces, and retextures skin. It cleanses deep into your pores to purify, before exfoliating off dead skin cells to reveal a glowing, fresh complexion. It’s effective like a pro-level chemical peel, yet gentle enough for people of all skin types to use–even those with eczema. The mask is formulated with a potent blend of 10% AHA, 0.5% BHA, and blue agave to clean de-gunk your skin deeply, while the hyaluronic acid, chamomile, and aloe hydrate and soothe.

So without further ado, here’s what we thought of it!

Jessica's Review Of The Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask

Right off the bat, I love when products promise to resurface and rejuvenate your skin, so I was very excited to try the Peach & Lily Super Reboot Mask. The product has such a cool, fresh smell to it. The formula is really lightweight and liquidy so it applies effortlessly. You don’t have to leave it on the full 15-20 minutes before you start to feel it work its magic.

Almost instantly it starts to tingle--which may feel unnerving to some---but that’s how you know it’s really giving your skin a total reboot. I went the full 20 minutes before washing it off and the result: brighter, smoother, softer looking (and feeling) skin, as soon as I dried off. My skin wasn’t the least bit red or irritated which is nice, considering so many retexturizing masks do that.

I have to say, I can’t wait to add this mask into my weekly beauty routine. It really is worth all the hype!

Emily's Review Of The Peach & Lily Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask

This was my first experience with Peach & Lily. I had seen their name popping up all over my Instagram feed since everyone was obsessed with this mask and was interested to see how the Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask would react with my skin; I have acne prone skin and my skin has been extra oily this summer thanks to all of the NYC humidity.

The mask was super easy to apply and I used it after cleansing my skin with my beloved Murad Acne Control Clarifying Cleanser. It’s one of those masks that you can feel working while you wear it and I left it on for 15 minutes to let it do its thing. There’s a slight tingle that occurs a few minutes into wearing the mask, but don’t worry—that’s normal! That’s how you know it’s working and getting deep into the cells!

I rinsed the mask off with lukewarm water and my skin felt sooo clean and smooth. I'm happy to say that there was no redness or irritation afterward, which was a pleasant surprise! It could have been my bathroom lighting, but I think that it made my skin brighter, too!

Double Beauty Takeaway: This is an excellent gentle resurfacing mask that benefits a variety of skin types—including sensitive skin! It’s an effective, at-home chemical peel that won’t cost you $$$.
