King Charles and Queen Camilla celebrated their 19th wedding anniversary earlier this month – on April 9th, to be exact. And although almost two decades have passed, royal fans are still appreciating little moments from their big day.
One particular moment revolved around the late Queen Elizabeth II, who rather controversially committed the ultimate sartorial faux pas and wore white to the wedding. However, the late monarch’s outfit choice may have been a little more calculated – as the royals’ wardrobes so often are – with many fans truly believing that she was throwing shade at Queen Camilla and “honoring” the late Princess Diana. i.e., King Charles’ ex-wife, instead!

The late Queen was known to have a wicked sense of humor; and her choice of wedding outfit may have just proven it! Let’s not forget that Camilla infamously wore white to Charles and Diana’s wedding back in 1981 (although some people insist it was a very light gray…) so the late Queen’s outfit choice could have been a retaliation to that.
