Renée Zellweger has been keeping a low profile lately, but now she’s back in the spotlight to promote some exciting new projects that she’s been working on.

Zellweger has slowly been easing her way back into Hollywood over the years after an extended hiatus. Now, she stars in Netflix's newest drama series What/If and says that the role couldn't have come at a better time for her.
"I want to play. I wanted to play," Zellweger said of her character Anne Montgomery. "I love that this woman is so audacious and free and that she taps into her entitlement and her power and her sexuality to manipulate everybody and everything around her to get what she wants. That's not something I do every day. So it was fun.
Despite Anne's cunning charm and enigma, Zellweger says that she could never do any of the things her character does on the show.
"I would never," Zellweger tells E! News. "Like, I would never. Every day, I would think, she didn't. She does. It's fantastic, I mean the things she says, and the way that she thinks. Is she sociopathic? Probably. Yeah, she's crazy."
2019 is already shaping up to be a big year for Zellweger. Her latest film Judy is slated to hit theaters this fall. The actress stars as Judy Garland and tackles the life and career of the legendary performer in the highly-anticipated biopic, which takes place one year before her untimely death in 1969.
