According to Gossip Cop, one rumor in particular painted a very scary picture for the star's health.

The website explains that National Enquirer posted an article claiming that Seacrest decided to "pump the brakes" on his multiple hosting jobs due to health concerns.

According to National Enquirer, a "rattled Ryan Seacrest is ditching his hosting duties on E!’s Live from the Red Carpet because he believes he was working himself into an early grave."

That's not all.

The article adds that Seacrest "has pared down his relentless schedule after a string of worrying health scares last year." Additionally, the piece quotes an insider who said the E! host "feels like he got a wake-up call that it’s time to pump the brakes."

However, it seems that the outlet has since taken the story down, which could mean it's more conjecture than anything else.

Seacrest himself certainly didn't mention any health scares influencing his decision, writing simply that he "decided to move on to new adventures."

Likely, this rumor came from another, similar one back in May 2020 when many fans were worried that he had suffered a stroke on camera during the American Idol finale. At the time, a representative told People, "Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night. Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home."

Here's hoping that these new rumors are put to rest just as swiftly.
