The 78th Annual Tony Awards lit up Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Sunday, June 8th. And as expected, the attendees pulled out all the stops with their red carpet looks.
We saw various different trends emerge on the red carpet for Broadway’s biggest night, but we were particularly enamored with the sculptural dresses worn by the likes of Cynthia Erivo, Sarah Paulson, and Kristin Chenoweth. Keep reading to check out their jaw-dropping looks in more detail…
Cynthia Erivo
The Wicked star and Oscar nominee had the distinct honor of hosting this year's Tony Awards; and from the moment she hit the red carpet, it was clear she came to slay!
Erivo started off strong, walking the arrivals red carpet in a phenomenal Schiaparelli outfit consisting of an intricately embroidered off-the-shoulder jacket, paired with a minimal maxi skirt in a matching shade. She accessorized with Fope jewelry, and of course, her signature stiletto manicure was as wow-worthy as ever!

Kristin Chenoweth
Theater royalty Kristin Chenoweth turned heads in a bold blue Christian Siriano dress, featuring a sculpted dramatic pointed bodice and a voluminous sheer skirt with a fun, asymmetrical hemline.
She accessorized with heeled sandals in a matching blue hue, and chose to forgo a necklace and bracelets to let the dramatic dress take center stage. Her blonde hair was worn in a sleek, center-parted down do, tucked behind her shoulders so as not to interfere with the bodice, and she finished off with a bold smoky eye and nude lips.

Sarah Paulson
Sarah Paulson was a Tony winner at last year's event, taking home the award for 'Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play' for her role as Toni Lafayette in Appropriate. And she was a sartorial winner at last night's ceremony too!
The American Horror Story star stunned in a Schiaparelli Couture piece, featuring a black, high-neck velvet bodice and an intricate embroidered hoop skirt which finished just below the floor to give fans a peek at her black heels. She accessorized further with a metallic clutch, and finished off with Buccellati jewelry, while her hair was worn in a chic updo.
