Sporting a freshly dyed hairdo with blonde highlights, Gomez wore it parted to the side. In addition, she donned a long, dark gray wool coat and a pair of bold red cat-eye glasses.
This appearance comes shortly after she made public her use of Botox injections. Just Jared uploaded the new photos of Gomez’s California outing to Instagram on December 19, 2023, and some fans in the post comment section deemed her to be “unrecognizable.”

After shots of the Rare Beauty mogul were shared that showed her strolling through the city with her friend, fans shared their thoughts in the comment section. “She’s so beautiful,” one wrote while adding that she “looked different.”
Another commented: “looks like a whole different person.” While a few users noted that her “Botox” usage might have been the reason why she looked “different,” others stressed that she “has lupus,” something she has been open about before.

Gomez has yet to respond to these comments, but she did fire back at one IG troll last month who accused her of undergoing “cheek fillers” and other plastic surgery procedures. As reported by E! News, one commenter on a post from popular IG account @popfactions wrote that Gomez should “remove your cheek fillers/implants” and that they were “messing with your brain.”
The post was a simple news announcement revealing that Gomez and her new beau, music producer Benny Blanco were officially dating.
As seen in a screenshot from the outlet, Gomez responded to the troll, writing: "Hahahaha I've had Botox bb girl."
