The "Who Says" singer has been through a lot this year, with a new season of Only Murders In The Building coming out, a new album, and her star-studded wedding to music producer Benny Blanco. On top of all the work she's doing, she's also been doing a lot for her popular cosmetics brand, Rare Beauty.
Recently, Rare Beauty has been emphasizing mental health, creating campaigns to push its customer base into taking good care of themselves. Mental health has been a subject the singer and brand founder has been speaking out on for years, opening up about her own mental health journey and encouraging others to do the same. In addition to selling cosmetics, Rare Beauty owns the Rare Impact fund, which raises money to make mental health services more accessible to young people around the world.
Last night, on October 29th, the company hosted the Rare Impact Fund benefit, which was attended by numerous celebrities, including Selena herself. The founder posed on the event's red carpet in a satin, deep pink mini dress that was paired with a dramatic coordinating cape. She paired the dress with a matching pair of shoes, making for a cool monochromatic moment. Her dark black bob was styled, and she had on some silver dangling earrings.

Fans Criticize Selena's Benefit Look On Social Media
Once pictures of the 33-year-old at her company's benefit were shared on social media, people immediately started weighing in on her look for the evening. While she received a lot of praise for raising awareness for an important cause, and her dress got some positive feedback, her makeup look was a different story.
Many internet users began to criticize her lips, especially as she wore a lipstick combo that was a slightly dark nude lipstick with an even darker lip liner shade. The makeup bothered people so much that they couldn't stop themselves from commenting on it via social media platforms like Reddit.
"I am not a fan of the morgue lips," commented a user.
