After years in the spotlight, Selena Gomez is no stranger to getting glammed up. Plus, as the founder of Rare Beauty, the 28-year-old star has a vested interest in showing off exactly how well her products work. And who could be a better model than Selena herself? Despite having a healthy appreciation for makeup, the “Lose You To Love Me” singer is just as happy to go makeup-free.
This past week, she proved it, showing off her “real life” for all of her followers on her Instagram stories. After sharing a series of seriously stunning pictures from her April 2020 Interview Magazine photoshoot, Selena made sure to remind fans that she doesn’t always look quite so polished—though we have to say she still looks incredible sans makeup.

Selena captioned the Instagram story with a reminder to her fans that she did not always look so glam. "K but real life," she wrote. And we can't remember a time when the singer was more relatable. Drinking tea, covered in blankets, and practicing her crocheting, Gomez is the epitome of quarantine coziness.
Although the singer is no stranger to sharing makeup-free moments with her followers, we have to admit this one stands out as especially candid. And we couldn't love her more for it!
The last time Gomez got so open with her fans might go all the way back to September when the singer participated in Vogue's Beauty Secrets series. In the clip, the 28-year-old takes fans through her makeup routine, starting barefaced and transitioning to a more glam nighttime look.
