Selena Gomez just took to Instagram to share exciting news for her brand Rare Beauty, and to debut a chic new hairstyle. Fans are absolutely loving it! The 30-year-old beauty mogul has traded her signature long brunette locks for a collarbone-length bob with wispy, waterfall bangs.
The Only Murders in the Building star’s trendy new ‘do is a perfect refreshed look for spring, as it features bouncy, voluminous, curly ends and eyebrow-grazing fringe. On June 2nd, Gomez uploaded a video of herself to Rare Beauty’s IG account that showed her lip syncing to a comical audio clip. She also announced the arrival of her brand’s products to Sephora stores in India.

Selena Gomez Stuns Fans with Chic, Shorter Bob and Wispy Fringe
The post’s caption read, “We couldn’t be more happy to finally launch in-stores and online only @sephora_india! Mark your calendar for June 15 and get ready to shop what’s been on your wishlist.” Gomez mouthed along to a 2021 audio from American Idol that went viral on TikTok and joked that she wasn’t “okay” after sharing the big news.
Her new cut also featured subtle, face-framing layers that helped accentuate her high cheekbones and facial features. As for her makeup look, the “Lose You To Love Me” hitmaker went for black liner, voluminous lashes, rosy blush and a nude lipstick. She accessorized with silver shiny hoop earrings. The “People You Know” singer donned a blue and black acid wash tee and cozy brown sweats in the clip.

Naturally, fans couldn’t get enough of Gomez’s new bangs, and headed to the post comment section to hype up her look. “OMG YES” one wrote with heart-eye emojis as another added on Twitter, “selena gomez has bangs and short hair so i want bangs and short hair.”
Other fans in India expressed their joy in learning that Rare Beauty will bring its products there with one commenting, “Finally, been waiting so long for this!” as someone else replied, “Can’t wait seriously!”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Gomez has rocked bangs, as we’ve seen her pull off all kinds of styles like curtain fringe, blunt bangs and more. This new ‘do is just as gorg, and certainly one for the books!
