Sephora just released a major update to its Beauty Insider program, and we are freaking out. Beauty Insider is the retailer’s loyalty program that has always given frequent shoppers access to major perks, and now the perks are unreal.
With the new loyalty program, there are so many more ways to save and get rewarded just for shopping.

Now, Sephora offers Beauty Insider Cash. Previously, shopping as a Beauty Insider Member meant you earned points that you could ultimately cash in for free product samples at checkout. But with the cash option, you can get instant money off your purchase when shopping online or in-stores. Every 500 points you earn gets you $10 off.
But wait - there’s more! It’s actually easier to rack up the points now because Sephora will start offering member-only Point Multiplier Events, which mean you can earn extra points at certain times.
Oh, and did we mention the free shipping? Sephora lowered the minimum cost Beauty Insiders have to meet to qualify for free standard shipping for online orders. Rouge members can get free shipping for all purchases, VIBs on purchases of $35 or more and Insiders on purchases of $50 or more.
“Our goal is to create a multi-faceted and well-rounded program to cater to the changing needs of our clients,” said Allegra Stanley Krishnan, Sephora’s Vice President and General Manager of Loyalty. “We know they want more ways to save and even more access to things like products, brand founders, services and one-of-a-kind experiences that are unique to Sephora.
“We also know rewards that provide greater emotional and memorable experiences are the most meaningful for our clients, and we want to continue to deliver personalized experiences where our clients can choose what works best for their needs. The emotional component of loyalty is a vital driver of our loyalty program and what really matters most to our clients.”
The Beauty Insider program is free to join. It is made up of three tiers: Insider, VIB and Rouge. Everyone starts at the Insider level, and then rises through the tiers the more you shop. Each tier comes with a new set of perks so you really save more as you shop more. It’s a win-win.
