SKIMS X Roberto Cavalli
The latest SKIMS campaign, shot by photographer and artist Nadia Lee Cohen, features Kardashian and her "momager" Kris Jenner in retro-chic swimsuits featuring bold prints like zebra stripes, tiger faces, and pheasant feather-inspired patterns.
For those who love their swimwear on the glam side, this seems to be a promising collection. But not everyone is excited. Reddit users commenting on one post aren't sold.
Reddit Users Call Collection "Cheap"
Where there's a Kim Kardashian photo, a hater is never far behind. This photoshoot is no exception.
“This feels… cheap,” one person commented bluntly on a thread dissecting the launch.
Another wrote, “It looks so AI generated."
One Redditor questioned the realism of the campaign altogether, writing, "You’re telling me I’m supposed to view that first pic as completely human?"
Others took issue with styling choices, calling out Kardashian’s look in particular: "I loved the shoot but the wig is horrible."
While Roberto Cavalli’s creative director Fausto Puglisi has called Kim “a modern Marilyn Monroe,” fans aren’t convinced this partnership captured that level of iconic glam. As one commenter put it simply: "This is… not it."
What do you think? Are you hoping to snag a bikini, or will you be skipping this one?
