Donald Trump Jr. Reportedly Went Hunting In Mongolia With Russian Oligarch Umar Kremlev
According to a report from the Financial Times, the president's eldest son spent two days in August hunting in western Mongolia with Umar Kremlev, a Russian businessman who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Kremlev, who heads the International Boxing Association, reportedly traveled to the remote hunting camp where the president's son was staying.
During the trip, Don Jr. reportedly shot and killed an Altai argali, an endangered mountain sheep prized by hunters for its large horns, according to a local guide who spoke to the above publication.
The hunting trip has drawn online backlash and investigations into the relationship between the two men, because Kremlev was previously reported to have helped bankroll the American businessman and his new wife, Bettina Anderson, in their wedding celebrations in May.
