Sydney Sweeney continues to not only wow fans with her acting performances, but also her style choices! The Emmy nominee, 25, just graced the cover of Time Magazine‘s annual ‘100 Next’ issue of rising stars, and donned a stunning, floor-length black velvet gown with a plunging, sultry halter neckline and bow detailing. The cover story was written by her Euphoria co-star Maude Apatow, 24, who praised her acting on the acclaimed show.
The White Lotus star’s dress is by Miu Miu, and she accessorized with Old Hollywood-esque elements like a glamorous fringy, black feather boa scarf, opera, elbow-length matching gloves and sparkly earrings. To complete her look, Sweeney rocked a classic ruby red lipstick color, black cat-eye liner, shimmering eyeshadow and rosy blush.

The Handmaid’s Tale alum further channeled Golden Age glam with her signature blonde tresses styled into loose waves, and with an elegant, dramatic deep side part. Sweeney shared her gorgeous cover with her 14.3 million Instagram followers, and wrote in her caption, “Thank you @Time for this incredible honor and privilege. What a dream come true,” with a black heart emoji, and added, “And special thanks to @maudeapatow for the words.”

Naturally, fans fawned over her retro-inspired ensemble, with one user commenting, “C’mom hollywood glamour” and another adding, “she’d be beautiful in any era!” Sweeney’s famous friends also hyped up her look, with Nicola Peltz Beckham writing, “Wow!! Such a beauty!!” as Leslie Mann left a red heart to convey her thoughts.

In Sweeney’s segment for the issue, Apatow described her to be an “unstoppable force” onscreen, and a performer who can “juggle” all kinds of emotions and captivate audiences, as most recently seen on her Euphoria role as Cassie Howard in the show’s highly viewed second season.
