Taco Bell fans have something to look forward to in August as the beloved Beefy Crunch Burrito will return to the chain’s menu. Back in March, a vote was held on the Taco Bell app, which pitted the Beefy Crunch Burrito against the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Tacos for a spot on the menu.
Winning with 60% of the votes, the Beefy Crunch Burrito was chosen for a limited-time return.
The Beefy Crunch Burrito features seasoned beef and rice, nacho cheese sauce, reduced-fat sour cream, and Fritos Flamin’ Hot Flavored Corn Chips, making it an “irresistibly delicious” dish, according to some fans on Twitter.
It first debuted in 2010 but was removed in 2011, since then making a few appearances on the Taco Bell menu in the past decade.

Taco Bell's Beefy Crunch Burrito Will Return To The Chain's Menu On August 3, Delighting Fans
On August 3, 2023, the much-anticipated Beefy Crunch Burrito will be available to all customers for either $2.49 or $6.49 as part of a combo.
However, Taco Bell Rewards Members will be able to place their orders two days prior to the official release date, on August 1, by utilizing the Taco Bell app.
The passion and enthusiasm surrounding the return of the Beefy Crunch Burrito was further supported by the Beefy Crunch Movement, an online collective dedicated to the return of the beloved item, as well as several petitions sent in by devoted fans to the fast food chain.
On Twitter, fans have deemed it over the years to be one of Taco Bell's "most beloved items in recent memory," the "best burrito ever," and more.
"We banded together earlier this year, got the votes in and we are beyond pumped to finally get a taste of what we believe is the best item to ever hit Taco Bell menus," the Beefy Crunch Movement founder Richard Axton said in a statement given to Taco Bell.
He added: "We are counting down the days until August 1 when it’s available early access and looking forward to savoring every last bite while it’s still available.”
