If you've ever thought to yourself, "This Taco Bell could really use some Tajín," then you're not alone—and you're also in luck. Taco Bell fans in Irvine, California are currently able to taste three inventive menu items that incorporate this Mexican spice blend. Tajín, which consists of chile, lime, and salt, adds the perfect amount of kick to your favorite foods—and now that includes your Taco Bell.
First off, Taco Bell has created the Tajín taco, which fills a Tajín-seasoned shell with seasoned beef, ranch, lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and a tasty mango salsa. Mango is one of the most popular fruits seasoned with Tajín, so this addition calls for a chef's kiss. Those lucky enough to test this taco can pick one up for $2.89.
And if you want something that's a little spicy and perfect for munching and crunching, go with the Tajín Twists, which take the puffed corn twists we all know and love and add Tajín to the mix. This snack is available for $1.29.
Finally, those looking to quench their thirst can try the Tajín Strawberry Freeze, priced at $3.59. This frozen beverage mixes mango and Tajín Chamoy sauce—plus a little bit of Tajín on the side. We love a good Taco Bell freeze, so we hope we can try it soon.
