Getting a tattoo is one of the most exciting experiences you’ll ever have. Tattoos are supposed to be beautiful works of art that represent your life, so you shouldn’t be taking it lightly or picking one on a drunken impulse.

That being said, there are many regrettable tattoos that artists see coming in and out of their tattoo shops. All tattoo artists end up creating pieces that they find questionable but only do so out of respect for the customer’s request.

There’s one tattoo that artists are so sick of tattooing on people. Too many people are in love with this tattoo, and now it’s gotten a reputation of being another “basic girl” tat. This tattoo is basically EVERYWHERE, and it’s basically becoming the next tramp stamp. You should really think about your decision before you get this tattoo…

Don’t get the infinity sign tattoo! It’s definitely overdone and considered basic to most tattoo artists. For example, an anonymous tattoo artist told The Sun that they hate “Infinity symbols that have names that are hidden within a feather, then the feather turns into birds, then the birds turn into dandelion seeds.”

So, try to be a little more original with your tattoo choices. Although they may look cute on Pinterest, tattoos are meant to be unique pieces that represent a significant part of you and your life. Don’t pick some random tattoo just because you think it’s “cute” or “adorable,” you may regret it in the long run. Think about your tattoo choices for a very, very long time, and keep in mind that this piece of art will be on you forever!
