Taylor Swift and up-and-coming rapper Ice Spice are heavenly in their music video for “Karma.” The video for the newly released remix of the track from Taylor’s latest album, Midnights, shows the two stars dancing the clouds and lassoing around the moon and Saturn. The singers’ respective star signs are seen behind them. Taylor wore multiple jaw-dropping looks for the music video but by far our favorite is the cut-out halter dress she wore when she was ferrying across a lake. We’ve never seen her in anything like this before!
Taylor Swift Glows In A Cut-Out Halter Dress In The ‘Karma’ Remix Music Video
The dress, which is from Celia Kritharioti’s Spring 2023 collection, features a sheer design, a halter strap, a bandeau-style top, cut-outs, and a low-rise waist-cinching skirt. Taylor accessorized with a bejeweled crown that acted as a headwrap. She styled her long blonde hair straight with her blunt bangs laying flat on her forehead. For makeup, the “Illicit Affairs” singer opted for sparkly blue eyeshadow, full lashes, and a mauve lip gloss.
Taylor wore the ensemble as she was paddling a boat with Ice Spice in the music video. We’re used to seeing Taylor in the bejeweled bodysuits she’s been rocking on her Eras Tour or the laidback looks she’s been wearing on her days off. This outfit seems completely different from anything else she’s worn.

The “Karma” music video comes after Taylor announced a new deluxe version of her album, Midnights (Til Dawn Edition). “Um. So much to tell you. I’m a massive fan of this brilliant artist and after getting to know her I can confirm: she is THE ONE to watch,” she said of Ice Spice in the announcement. “So delighted to say that Karma Featuring the incredible @icespice will be out TOMORROW night at MIDNIGHT ET as a part of the new Midnights (Til Dawn Edition) deluxe album that you can pre-order now at store.taylorswift.com!”
Taylor continued, “In addition to Karma Ft Ice Spice…You asked for it, [and] we listened: Lana and I went back into the studio specifically to record more Lana on Snow on the Beach. Love u @honeymoon. But wait there’s more… for those of you going to the East Rutherford shows – we will have a new special edition CD available ONLY on site starting at 12:30 pm ET on Friday! This CD will have a never before heard Midnights vault track called ‘You’re Losing Me’!” The track is supposedly about her ex-boyfriend, Joe Alwyn.
The “Blank Space” singer seems to be very busy lately. In addition to the Eras Tour, this unexpected album news, and the music video drop, the pop superstar also recently announced that her next re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), which she of course announced in a whimsical gown, will be released July 7.

While Taylor turned off the comments on her Instagram, the account Taylor Swift Style which tracks the singer’s fashion choices, posted the outfit to their socials. Many fans commented that they wish they saw more of this outfit in the music video, “This look, even for second, was THE moment!” one fan raved, while another commented, “My favorite look from the video! I wish we’d gotten a look of the outfit up close, oh well!” and a third wrote, “I wish there were longer shots of this scene, the outfit is so pretty but you can hardly see it.”
Other fans pointed out that they had never seen Taylor in a dress like this. “I don’t think I’ve ever seen her belly button before,” someone commented, while another wrote, “We should see her in this kind of dress on a red carpet sometime. I love this look on her! Just wish we could’ve seen more of this look in the [music video].”
