Today, July 22nd, is singer and actress Selena Gomez's 33rd birthday, but to celebrate the milestone, she had a star-studded party a few days prior. Sharing photos on Instagram, it became obvious that the "Lose You To Love Me" singer had a 1970s-inspired bash, full of cool, glamorous Hollywood decor and, of course, some fabulous on-theme outfits.
Because they've been friends for so long, fans were waiting to see if Selena's superstar pal, Taylor Swift, would be at her birthday party, and she was! In a 'photo dump' recently shared to Instagram, including snaps from her 70s-themed bash, the Texas native shared a picture of her and Taylor sitting side-by-side in a pile of balloons. The Eras Tour star wore a plunging, long-sleeved black dress that went down to her mid-thighs.
The dress was fairly simple yet chic, and paired well with Selena's dark-colored, sparkling jumpsuit. The Grammy-winner kept her long, signature blonde locks down and slightly curled, with her bangs straightened and styled. She kept her makeup fairly minimal, but sported some cat-eyed eyeliner, a look she's notoriously rocked in the past.
Inside Sources Reveal Selena And Benny Blanco Would 'Love' For Taylor & Travis Kelce To Attend Their Wedding
A few days before the Disney Channel alum posted photos from her birthday extravaganza on Instagram, inside sources revealed that she and her fiancé, Benny Blanco, are making more plans for their wedding, and want the singer-songwriter in attendance. Not only her, but her football-playing boyfriend as well.
An insider close to the successful couple told The Daily Mail that Selena and Benny would allegedly be getting married in California this September, and that they wanted their closest family and friends at the event, which would take place over a weekend.
"Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend," the insider told the publication. "Although it's for friends and family only, many on the friends list are huge celebrities, including Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, Selena's co-stars from Only Murders In The Building, and music superstars who are Benny's friends and some he's also worked with."
Another source told the publication that the couple is working hard to plan the ceremony around their famous friends' "busy" schedules, stating, "Selena is not having her wedding to accommodate Taylor, but she wants her to attend and she would love for her to be able to go with Travis."
Now that it's been reported that the 35-year-old singer will be on her best friend's wedding guest list, we can only imagine how beautiful they will look for the extra-special occasion.
