Taylor Swift helped celebrate Patrick Mahomes’ 30th birthday on Monday night, turning heads in a plaid two-piece set that finally won over fans after weeks of criticism for her fashion choices.
In a group photo with Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Patrick’s wife Brittany, the Eras icon stunned in a Simkhai Poppy vest and matching Payton wrap mini skirt—both of which sold out almost instantly after she wore them. The tailored vest featured black buttons and a flattering V-neckline, while the mini skirt showed off her long legs.

Swift elevated the look with burgundy Gucci platform heels and a classic Chanel pendant necklace. Beside her, Kelce kept things playful in a pair of Thom Browne shorts that quickly drew ridicule online for their quirky, “dorky” vibe. The group appeared to be in high spirits as they celebrated at 1587 Prime steakhouse, co-owned by Kelce and Mahomes.
Even though the Chiefs lost to the Philadelphia Eagles the night before, the group were all smiles together.
Fans flocked to the comments to give Taylor the praise she deserved for her outfit, especially after a series of less-than-stylish date night ensembles.
“Taylor’s shoes are [fire emoji],” said one fan. “Taylor Swift got them nice legs,” another wrote.
