The Apprentice ran for 15 seasons between 2004 and 2017. The premise was that contestants competed in business-related challenges like marketing campaigns, sales tasks, negotiations, and event planning, among other things, with the winner getting a job working for Donald Trump or one of his companies. It's where Trump's catchphrase, "You're fired!" originated and made him a household name.
Though the show has been out of production for nearly a decade, there have been reports that Amazon is looking to bring the show back for a reboot.
