Now that it’s back in stores, it’s no surprise that people are taking to social media to share their joy. Each Ube Mochi package is available for just $4.99 and contains six delicious treats, perfect for summer snacking.

Trader Joe’s Brings Back Ube Mochi Treats and Fans Celebrate

Last week, popular Trader Joe’s-themed IG account @traderjoesobsessed shared the news that these treats were back in stores in a post for its 643K followers. Naturally, fans in the comment section began expressing their excitement.

“Got 4 boxes yesterday. So happy to have it back,” one wrote as another added: “Got mine today” with a grateful hands raising emoji. Someone else chimed in: “Yeahhhh! Love these.”

The account’s post featured a video of someone slicing the treats with a knife to give a better glimpse at the tasty, sugary filling.

According to the Trader Joe's website, these desserts feature "sweet ube ice cream (known for its vanilla-meets-pistachio flavor), enveloped in a rice-flour-based, purple-hued (from fruit and vegetable juice), mochi wrapper."

The grocer adds that the "chewy exterior" in each treat leads you to the "sweet, creamy center." These mochis are only 80 calories, are safe for gluten-free and Kosher diets and are meant to keep frozen.

If you're a fan of these sweet treats, be sure to head over to your local Trader Joe's soon before they're gone again!
