Kansas City Chiefs Coach Raves About Travis Kelce's Recent Weight Loss Transformation At A Press Conference
During a chat with members of the press on July 24th, a few players from the Kansas City Chiefs, the team Travis Kelce plays for, and their coach, Andy Reid, sat down to speak to the press about the upcoming football season, and what they've been doing behind the scnes during off-season and training to keep their players in shape and prepped for a new year of games.
Travis has become one of the most recognizable names in football thanks to his impressive career with the Kansas City Chiefs. After being drafted by the team in 2013, the tight end made a name for himself rather quickly with his catches, game-changing plays, and even his famous friendship with their quarterback, Patrick Mahomes. Although they didn't win the trophy last year, in the past, the 35-year-old is best known for helping lead the Chiefs to multiple Super Bowl wins and becoming one of the most popular tight ends in NFL history.
Over the last few months, the star player has clearly undergone a fitness transformation, stepping out for a few public appearances with friends and his infamous girlfriend, Taylor Swift. Although he's been relatively private about his new health and fitness approach, his coach acknowledged it during last week's press conference and praised his hard work.
"He's svelte right now," Reid told journalists. "He's doing a great job. He's in great shape."
The coach also stated that "you can see" Travis has been "working out" and complimented his appearance, stating that he "looks like he's 20."

Travis Said He's Been Running More And Has Gotten 'Lighter' In The Last Few Months
We're not sure exactly how much weight the Ohio native has lost, mainly due to the fact that he's primarily spoken up about his transformation in the context of football, but it's clear that he's shed a good amount of weight. Being a professional athlete, he's never looked too bad, but it appears that he's been pushing himself harder to ensure he's in tip-top shape for the next football season.
During a recent podcast interview, Travis mentioned that he was "a little lighter this year," explaining that he may play football a bit differently than last season. During a press conference, he also brought up the changes in his training routine for the off-season.
"This year, I got some time to work on some form running and some things early on in the off-season that I just didn't have time for last year," he told the press. "I'm certainly feeling good, and hopefully it'll pay off."
We'll be curious to see if Travis decides to open up more about his weight loss and give a bit more insight into exactly how he did it, like what he's eating, but for now, it looks like his coach is excited about the progress he's made.
