The America's Next Top Model host was one of many stars in attendance for the award ceremony, which honors stylists, fashion icons, and designers throughout the industry. The packed event took place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on April 24th, and some of the famous attendees, including Hailey Bieber and Chappell Roan, stepped out for pictures on the red carpet.
Tyra was one of the notable faces of the night, not only because of her impressive achievements in the fashion industry, which she was honored for but also because of her look, which was quite different from what she usually selects.
The model wore a long, dark brown Christian Siriano coat with a belted cinched waist and extra fabric that draped down over her shoulder. In addition to her eye-catching coat, the television personality arrived at the event wearing dramatic white and cool-toned eyeshadow that added a chilling effect to her look.

Once pictures of the 51-year-old at the award ceremony were released to several social media platforms, internet users began to slam her, writing that this was not a flattering look on her and that her makeup especially changed her entire appearance. One Reddit user wrote that Tyra looked "a mess" on the red carpet in a thread about the outfits celebrities wore to the ceremony.

The theme of the Coyote Ugly actress looking villainous was popular amongst internet users who couldn't help but compare her to something out of a cartoon.
