Gisele Bündchen has rocked a ton of magazine covers throughout her 25-year-long career, with each one outdoing the last. The former Victoria’s Secret Angel, 41, just graced V Magazine‘s May 2022 issue and discussed her legendary career as a supermodel, as well as what she has learned about life, love and her work after hitting the big 4-0.

The stunner donned a sultry, skintight leopard-print catsuit in the main standout image from the Miami shoot, and shared other new photos with her 19 million Instagram followers in a post last week. “I had so much fun playing dress up with my friends at @vmagazine,” she wrote in her caption, “What’s your favorite cover?” Bündchen’s fans were clearly divided, as she uploaded 3 cover images that flaunted her incredible curves; the sexy leopard-print one, another in which she wore a white, low-cut bodysuit with a black shirt underneath, and a third (and ultra-risqué one where she posed shirtless). “How could we even pick?” one fan asked, summing up our exact thoughts. “All 3” wrote another as someone else pointed out how “gorgeously timeless” the model is.

In the cover story, Bündchen stressed that she embraces aging rather than fearing it, as she becomes more confident with each passing year. “When you’re in your twenties, you try to fit in and you try to belong. When you’re in your forties, you feel more comfortable in your skin. I feel like I have only gotten stronger with time, and that’s in all [aspects] of my life,” she said. “I don’t see this as a job, it’s my life. It truly means everything for me to be able to work,” the mom of 2 added.
The Brazilian fashion icon also mentioned that she feels happiest when challenging herself career-wise and in her personal life. “As a model — or even just in everyday life — you have to allow yourself to let go and trust…that’s when the creativity becomes so much more expansive. Allow yourself to go beyond your comfort zone, and real magic will happen,” she advised readers.
One of the main takeaways from the interview is that Bündchen believes her career accomplishments were possible due to taking chances and never playing it safe. “I’ve found that when you take a chance, you discover things that you never knew were possible,” she continued. “But it can only happen when you have the courage to take a leap of faith. The courage to believe in yourself.”
