Thanks to modern technology, ordering food from your favorite fast food chains is now easier than ever. The existence of their apps makes everything efficient. With just a single tap, swipe, or click, your burgers and fries can be well on its way to your front door.
According to an article published by The Street, having such apps “delivers a better customer experience while also giving the chain access to data and the ability to use their app to market to their customers.” Not only do the apps allow you to customize your order, but they also give a chance for the fast food retailers to better identify your needs.
The outlet mentioned that McDonald’s has always been a pioneer in this initiative with its app-based ordering, in-store tablets, and loyalty rewards program. However, it looks like companies such as Burger King and Wendy’s have tricks up their own sleeve. Apparently, the two fast food restaurants are starting to do something similar when it comes to encouraging their customers to download their app and enroll in their rewards program.

As reported by The Street, “The offers vary but Wendy’s currently gives new members a free 10-piece chicken nugget, while Burger King offers a free Whopper, Croissan’wich, or Original Chicken Sandwich on your first digital order. And, once you sign up, the offers keep coming along with the points you earn.”

Who could say no to free food, right? Seems like these fast food companies really value their customer’s membership. BRB, downloading the apps now.
