When you think of weight-loss-friendly meals, something from McDonald’s may not come to mind. However, there are ways to enjoy it without wrecking your fitness journey.

Macro coach and content creator Janelle Rohner has shared two delicious-looking McDonald’s orders that can help you stay on track without having to stop eating fast food entirely.

“If you’re on a weight loss journey and you don’t want to give up McDonald’s, let me show you what to order,” says Janelle in one of her videos.

McDouble & Four-Piece McNuggets

It may sound wild, but Janelle says you can still enjoy a McDouble from time to time without messing up your weight loss progress.

"There's just something about a McDouble," says Janelle as she bites into the famous sandwich.

"Instead of fries, I get a four-piece nugget," she adds before drizzling a bit of hot sauce onto her McNugget order.

This combination is high in protein and can help you stay fuller for longer while continuing to enjoy some more indulgent food. The macros for the meal are 570 calories and 31 grams of protein.

Double Quarter Pounder Without The Bun

When Janelle first went viral on apps like TikTok, she created beginner content for those following a keto diet. Eating keto is still a popular way to lose weight and feel healthier, and according to the macro coach, you can follow the nutrition plan at McDonald's.

For her keto McDonald's order, Janelle asks for a double Quarter Pounder without the bun. She also takes off the ketchup, but you could leave it on if it's a favorite condiment of yours and you're not strictly keto.

The order is heavy on protein, and if you want to add some more fiber to the meal, you can ask for added lettuce and tomato to put on top. Which of these macro-friendly orders would you try first?
