People are so mad at the Kardashians right now. New claims have surfaced alleging that the family of influencers has been mistreating their staff in their homes.
And it seems that this behavior may run in the family, as both Kourtney, 42, and Kim, 40, have been accused of improper treatment of domestic and childcare staff.

Seven members of Kim’s domestic staff are even suing the SKIMS-founder and mother of four. They claim that she didn’t pay them enough or give them sufficient breaks, and said that Kim even owes them money for overtime and expenses. The lawsuit claims that Kim owes over $25,000 in unpaid fees.
This is quite surprising, especially because Kim has an estimated net worth of $1 billion.

The lawsuit against Kim states, “Plaintiffs never received any paystubs, were not paid on regular pay periods, were not given their required meal and rest breaks, were not provided a means to record all their hours, were not paid all their hours, were not reimbursed for employment expenses, were not paid all their overtime wages, and were not paid their wages upon termination of employment.”
Kim’s representative has said that she is not responsible for these grievances as her staff had been hired through a third-party vendor.

Though Kim may not be entirely aware of the treatment of staff in her own home, she seems to keep track of how her sister treats her workers.
In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kim was seen reprimanding her older sister, Kourtney, for yelling at a nanny in public. Kim told Kourtney that the nanny “said that she felt so degraded by you and you just started yelling at her.”
Kourtney’s response was that the nanny was lying.

According to Kourtney, the nanny had called her six-year-old son Reign “a liar.” Kim then accused Kourtney of being incapable of holding onto a nanny, and Kourtney responded that Kim was projecting her own problems.
It is hard to determine if these accusations are an actual case of misconduct, or simply a misunderstanding.
