If you watched the 2020 Golden Globes Award Show over the weekend, you may have noticed some reactions between ex-couple Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt.
Married back in 2000 and divorced five years later in 2005, the two were universally acknowledged as America’s favorite celebrity couple. When they ended their relationship, rumors of Pitt being associated with co-star Angelina Jolie, started spiraling. Many rumors were supposedly confirmed when the two later tied-the-knot. Aniston, remarried Justin Theroux in 2015. Currently, both Aniston and Pitt are single – but with the troubled past many wouldn’t think to associate these two potentially back together again…
Over the past Christmas, Pitt was invited to Aniston’s party and supposedly the second last person to leave. While many may be wondering if anything is going on, we’re here to say the two are just friends. Resources say that Aniston enjoys remaining in contact with people she’s known and had relationships with in her life – and prefers not burning any bridges. In fact, recently separated Theroux celebrated Thanksgiving at Aniston’s among family and friends.
So while there are comments on Aniston’s eye roll during Pitt’s speech at the Golden Globe, being passive aggressive and ill intentioned – we’re here to say that’s not necessarily the true. The two are still friends, even through it all.
