All eyes were on Zendaya on Wednesday November 10th, as she walked the CFDA Awards red carpet in one of the raciest ensembles she may have ever worn. And that’s saying something, because the Euphoria star is a big fan of flashing the flesh and flaunting her incredible figure both on and off the carpet! She looked utterly sensational, and we are, in our humble opinions, not worthy!
The 25-year-old Dune actress blew everyone away with her barely-there custom Vera Wang two-piece consisting of a miniscule bandeau top and a floor-length skirt with a bubble waist. And of course, it came in red, i.e., *the* color of the moment – the color loved by everyone from Kourtney Kardashian to Rihanna. Zendaya finished off her head-turning look with Bulgari diamond jewelry (we’re told that she wore over 60 carats in total!) including a tennis bracelet, necklace, and a selection of rings. Even among all the diamonds, Zendaya dazzled us the most!

We had a feeling that Zendaya would be making a grand entrance at the ceremony, which was held at The Pool + The Grill in New York, as she was being honored with the prestigious ‘Fashion Icon’ award by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. The Malcolm & Marie star is in extremely good company, as previous winners include Rihanna, who received the honor in 2014, Jennifer Lopez, who was awarded in 2019, and Lady Gaga, who received the accolade ten whole years ago back in 2011. (Wow, has it really been a decade since Gaga’s win?!)
However, Zendaya made history by becoming the youngest person ever to receive the award! The accolade couldn’t have gone to a better person in our opinion, as Zendaya’s bold and often risk-taking style has landed her on every single best-dressed list imaginable. Has she ever had a fashion faux pas? We don’t think so!

The awards were hosted by Emily Blunt, while Tom Ford, Chairman of the CFDA, presided over the event. The CFDA described Zendaya as the “reigning monarch” of the red carpet when it announced that she would be the recipient of the highly-coveted award, adding that, “without exception,” Zendaya “makes a style statement as soon as she steps out of her car.” CFDA CEO Steven Kolb had many more complimentary words to say about Zendaya, who he ultimately called an icon. “She has made such a tremendous impact on style, and she’s such a fan,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “She may be young, but she is an icon.” We couldn’t agree more!
Although thousands upon thousands of people commented about Zendaya’s red carpet look and her ‘Fashion Icon’ win, there was only one comment that we were looking out for – and that was the comment from her rumored boyfriend, Tom Holland. And it didn’t disappoint! “Naaa stop it,” the 25-year-old Spider-Man: Homecoming actor wrote on Instagram on Thursday November 11th, followed by a heart eyes emoji, alongside a picture of Zendaya from the red carpet. “An incredible achievement for the most incredible person. Congrats @zendaya and @luxurylaw you guys deserve every bit of this,” he added, also referencing Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach. Our hearts can’t take it! Congratulations again to Zendaya – we can’t wait to see what other style victories she will delight us with in the near future!
