Zendaya and Tom Holland stepped out for a rare joint appearance on Sept. 20, attending a charity event at Christie’s auction house in London—marking Holland’s first public outing since suffering a concussion on the set of Spider-Man.
The actor hosted the evening’s “Posh Pub Quiz,” organized through The Brothers Trust, the nonprofit he co-founded with his brothers Sam, Harry, and Paddy Holland. Guests competed in a lively trivia contest, with prizes ranging from exclusive memorabilia to even a round of golf with the actor himself, according to photos shared by Laura Hope Whitaker, co-founder of Java Joy.

Zendaya Wears an LBD for a Charity Event Hosted by Tom Holland
The Dune actress brought her signature elegance to the occasion in a chic little black dress featuring ruffled detailing along the shoulders and sleeves, paired with sheer tights and sleek black heels. She completed the look with a side-parted bun. Holland looked equally polished in a classic tuxedo and bow tie as he took center stage as host and quizmaster for the night.
Whitaker took to Instagram to share photos from the night and described some of the activities they participated in. “We hugged, we chatted, we sang & we tried (and lost) the pub quiz. But we got autographed spoons, so I think we really won! We chatted with Tom and his family and met Zendaya.”
Holland’s appearance came as a surprise, following reports that he was injured on the set of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Tom was reportedly rushed to the hospital last Friday after a stunt went wrong while filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford.

Tom Holland to Return to Spider-Man Filming After Concussion
Production on the multi-million Marvel blockbuster—Holland’s fourth outing as Spider-Man—was temporarily halted after he sustained a head injury in the fall and was treated for a concussion.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Sony execs met on Monday to work out a plan to resume filming and determined the production will shut down for one week rather than attempt to shoot without Holland. It is not expected to impact the film’s July 31, 2026, release date.” However, on Monday, it was reported that Holland will be back to filming the movie the following week.
Zendaya returns to the movie as well, playing M.J., while Hulk icon Mark Ruffalo is also confirmed as part of the cast.
