Gift Finds: Crazy for KooKoo
August 24, 2005
If “cuckoo” means crazy, then Vancouver, B.C.-based towel line KooKoo is aptly named because I’m nuts about their goodies! They’re quite simply the perfect gifts for every occasion. Bride and groom pillowcases or hand towels would be a perfect shower or wedding gift, while a new baby should definitely be decked out in their “stinker” diaper cover and be wrapped in a hooded towel after bath time. A “gourmet chef” or “crappy cook” apron would be a funny housewarming gift, and a puppy blanket will make sure that even four-legged friends can go a little KooKoo. They’re so adorable though, that you’ll want some for yourself too…having just moved into a new condo I am coveting the earth-toned dots towel set for my bathroom. Prices are reasonable and you can go nuts over KooKoo at kookootowels.com or in stores across the US and Canada. In New York, look for KooKoo at Terence Conran, Random Acts and Flights of Fancy, to name a few.
