The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Ask any New Yorker and they will tell you the most talked-about and buzzy new neighborhood is Hudson Yards. And that is thanks to the recent expansion of shopping, culinary experiences, and public plazas. The same person you asked will probably also tell you that because there is so much to do and see, the area feels massive.

Even people that live here can find it to be overwhelming at first. I’m not going to lie, my first time there I definitely got lost. So to make navigating Hudson Yards way easier, whether you are a visitor or even a local, we broke it down to the must-sees and the must-dos the next time you’re in the area.

WHERE TO STAY

If you’re coming in from out of town, you’ll want to book a room at the Crowne Plaza HY36 which sits adjacent to the urban oasis of Hudson Yards. They also recently teamed up with Montauk Salt Cave’s East Village location where you can chill and soak up the benefits of halotherapy with an exclusive discount. When you’re done, head back to the hotel and sip on a Montauk Summer Ale in the outdoor beer garden before you go back out to explore some more.

Literally shop til you drop at the one-million-square-foot, seven-story shopping center otherwise known as the Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards. With 100 high-end shops including Fendi, Louis Vuitton and more, you’ll be sure to find something you love. And if you get tired and hungry along the way, stop in one of the 25 cafes and eateries for a pick me up.

One thing is for sure…you will not run out of things to do while you are there! Catch a concert at New York’s first movable multi-arts center, The Shed, or hit up an exhibition of an immersive art installation. And of course, you can’t leave without climbing the Vessel.
