We met Valentine, the handsome designer of the pink strapless number pictured left. It was very Marilyn meets Material Girl Madonna with a decidedly modern twist to fit the bottle’s booty. He’s not showing a full collection but previewing a number of looks this fall while gearing up for a splashy debut in the 2008 season.
And the booze? Not cognac connoisseurs are we, but it was a luxe experience to sip the surprisingly smooth liquor while Guillaume #1 and Guillaume #2, the Frenchmen from Landy, charmed us into pledging lifelong loyalty to high-end cognac. The only downside to ending our day at HOME, not a single fashion faux pas to pan while we sat back and enjoyed our bottle service.
Shiny dressed socialites and urban prepsters enjoyed their scenester status. We enjoyed our buzz.
