The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Alas, the Golden Globes aren't to be this year, and with them goes all the glamour and pageantry surrounding the first official to-do of awards season. While there won't be any hits or misses from this year's Red Carpet, there is plenty of dishing to be done about 2007's most unforgettable looks. Below are our five faves of the past year along with some tips on how to copy their award-worthy looks.

Reese Witherspoon: She's definitely lucked out with fabulous film wardrobes (think Legally Blonde, Sweet Home Alabama and Walk the Line). But it's how she styles herself off the silver screen that wins our applause. The sophisticated sweetheart always looks polished and put together, whether she's walking the Red Carpet or carting her kiddies around L.A. She was one of our faves at the 2007 Golden Globes (remember her craveable lemon yellow dress and ruby shoes?), and her Nina Ricci tiered gown at the Oscars was unbelievably chic.

Get her look: Reese wears a lot of stylish black, and she knows how to flatter her petite figure. Choose a timeless LBD that shows off the collarbone like ABS's sweetheart neck strapless number ($171). You can also copy one of Reese's favored pieces: Van Cleef & Arpels' Alhambra Clover Necklace. Splurge on the real thing, or spend less on a chic strand at Portia Jewelry($27).

Katie Holmes: Say what you will about her personal choices, but Suri's mama is setting herself up to be the most stylish soccer mom of all time. Katie's effortless Red Carpet style is flowy and feminine accentuated by pretty pastels and sleek satin and silk. When she's tending to the day-to-day, she's able to keep her style in tact, toddler and all. Katie opts for simple-chic in the form of durable trenches, big carry-all totes, and glam takes on the basics. Her easy-upkeep bob works just as well at the playground as at a premiere and is easily one of the most copied coifs of the year.

With one of America's most famous tots in tow, Katie has to be ready for anything. Get her everyday look by donning Moschino's flirty-yet-sturdy ivory pleat-neck trench ($2,695) and Tom Ford's Whitney shades ($320), a known Katie staple.

Katherine Heigl: When you're the star of a movie called 27 Dresses, you'd better get ready to have your style choices put under a microscope. Off the Red Carpet, she's got an uber-attainable girl-next-door style, and she's nothing short of stunning while picking up trophies for her turn as Izzie on Grey's Anatomy. Her winning Emmy look (a crisp white Zac Posen gown with a chic chignon) and her glam Golden Globes getup (a peachy Escada frock and pin curls) helped to keep old Hollywood glamour where it belongs- on our TV sets. When she's not charming us from behind the podium, Katherine's looking sleek on the streets. She's not above wearing her specs and ponytail on occasion, which makes us think she'd be fun to grab drinks with. What's more stylish than a glamazon who could also turn out to be your BFF?

Get her look: Katherine's been spotted out and about carrying Juicy Couture's white patent Lovely satchel ($230). Pair it with wide leg jeans (like Rich & Skinny's Lanky style, $244) for a day of hitting the shops.
