We’ve all seen fashion bloggers, stores and even our friends posting Insta pics of their shoes. And while obviously all girls love shoes, (Huffington Post says they’re “everyone’s guilty pleasure”), why is everyone posting them on social media? The answer: shoe porn.
To pull off this photo trend, you don’t even have to use the hashtag #shoeporn, all you have to do is snap a photo of your heels, boots, sandals or birks (Birkenstocks, duh!) that will make your friends jealous, choose the right filter, then wait for the likes to roll on in. We’ve seen so many great shoe porn Instas by our favorite bloggers lately, that we decided to find their best ones and show you how its done.
Just like belfies, shelfies and posed food pics, we aren’t quite sure why shoe pics are a thing, but we definitely don’t hate it.
