The 125 Best New Beauty Launches Of 2023

Ladies, who doesn’t love rocking a classic red lip? I know I do! The bolder the better. But the one problem I have with taking out my favorite long-lasting shade is the hassle of wiping it off at the end of the day. Luckily, I’ve finally found the solution, and it’s so simple. Vaseline. I’m not kidding. This drugstore staple has been used with everything from healing dry skin to helping make your eyelashes look fuller, so it’s no wonder that a little petroleum jelly can get rid of that 12-hour lipstick like NBD.

If you’re looking to get that lip stain off super fast, here are two easy steps:

1.Coat your lips with some Vaseline. Dab a good amount on your lips, making sure to cover all of those problem areas that you’ve probably dealt with in the past using napkins and water. Next, let the Vaseline sit on your lips for up to five minutes.

2. Clean your lips with warm water. Grab a hand towel or washcloth, and wet it with some warm water. Then, gently wipe off your lips to remove the lipstick and petroleum jelly. And…voila! Your’re left with colorless lips. It really is that easy!

Bonus tip: when finished, put a little bit of Vaseline back on your lips to make sure they stay hydrated in between applications!
