I’ve been in the business for a long time, which means I’ve seen beauty brands create products that claim to do all kinds of wild things. I’m usually a skeptic on skin products, but when a pitch for Joyome’s new skincare regimen came across my desk I was intrigued.
Joyome’s pitch is that they’ve made skin lotions that work with your face’s microbiome. In other words, it gets the good bacteria to work and kills the bad bacteria. They have a day version and a night version that I’ve been using for the last month and skepticism be darned, but I’m actually seeing results. Not only are some of my dark patches lightening, but my wrinkles also seem to be fading. Even better, I’ve had fewer breakouts and overall my face looks firmer and smoother. I’m seriously impressed.
